Celebrating birthdays with my sisters.......

Friday afternoon at 5:30 P.M., we met Joyce and Roy, Carolyn and Dave, Viv, Linda and Audrey at the Cave and we celebrated our birthdays together. What fun!!!!

Lots of good food, fun and fellowship......

Trip to Saskatoon......

Last Friday morning, Jim and I took a trip to Saskatoon to attend Wanda Loseth's wedding and we managed to get in little visits to Aunty Helen.........

And we stopped and said hi to Gramma Gladys.........

and Uncle Jim.....it was fun to connect with them......

A new grandson....Kian Julius Stender.....

Our hearts are full to overflowing tonight as we sit and think about another precious new life that has entered this world. God is good and His blessings overwhelm us sometimes. This new little one happens to be our grandson, Kian Julius Stender and really he wasn't so little either.....a robust 9#5oz. and 23" long......Nanc and Wayne, you did good!!!!! The actual birth itself is such a miracle, one that only God can perform and now the responsibility of raising and loving that little one rests upon the parents and the extended family. What a priviledge and blessing that is......how humbling.....
Nanc and Wayne, God is there to give you wisdom.....strength......and whatever you need to be the parents that God has called you to be.
We love you and pray for you as we did for this little boy from the time we found out that you were pregnant and will continue to pray for him as he makes his place in this strange new world that he has found himself in.
What a little cutie......I just printed off the pictures that you put on Facebook. Looking forward to actually holding that "big", little bundle in a couple of weeks. Can hardly wait!!!!

It has been fun having Joyce and Roy visiting us this weekend. On Saturday morning, it was so warm and beautiful that we had to take a walk in the park............

I WANTED TO START GETTING MY GARDEN READY FOR PLANTING!!!!!!!!! IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE "PLANTIN" WEATHER TO ME!!!!! O WELL, THAT IS WHAT THIS AREA IS ALL ABOUT.......WEATHER CHANGES AS FAST AS A WOMEN'S MIND!!!! IT WAS COMPLETELY SNOW FREE WHEN I DROVE HOME THIS MORNING FROM WORK AT 5:00 A.M.!!!!!

Out with family on my birthday.......

On Sunday afternoon, we went out to Tony Roma's for a birthday lunch with Heather and Duane and the kids. They were so excited to give me the planter that they bought for me and had to tell exactly how to use it.......

1. Buy a pot

2. Put some dirt into it

3. Plant some seeds

4. Then put it into the planter and watch it grow

5. Don't forget to water it

At Montana's restaurant at Westhills......Yummy food!! Dale and Darlene's biking buddies joined us for dinner.....So fun!!!

My dear hubby secretly talked to the waiters and waitresses about a certain birthday girl who is 29 and holding........so being the outdoorsy type of restaurant, they came to the table with dessert and a lit candle and made a "moose" out of me, totally surprising and embarrassing me but how fun it was........
