Wetaskwin and the museum......

Jim and I drove up to the museum in Wetaskwin on this last Friday to see the display they have there. Model T fords and other old cars as well as planes.......This is a picture they gave us as a souvenir. I don't think they smiled in those days!!!!!
Had a ride in a 1927 Model T ford around the grounds......
A machine like his dad had on the farm......
Looking at the small versions of the cars and tractors.......
Here he is standing beside a car (1929 Model A) like he had (actually his very first car) when he was quite abit younger and beside it was a.......yup......motorcycle!!!! An old Harley!!!!!!
He has cars, motorcycles, tractors in his blood, that boy!!!!!!!! He enjoyed it and do you know what??? So did I!!!!!!

Where is that museum with the tractors and cars? My brother collects replica toy farm equipment and it looks like something he'd enjoy! My mom and her siblings and parents, of course, homesteaded in Divide County in North Dakota around Alamo and Ambrose. They visit that area around once a year since they purchased family land there and am wondering if it would be within easy traveling distance for them into Canada.

Looks like you had a wonderful time and great to touch base with family and friends!!

This is a museum in Wetaskwin, Alberta near Edmonton. It is about 3 hours north of Calgary. Yes, we enjoyed every minute of our holiday.
