The house is quiet.......

The house is quiet these days......too quiet as far as I am concerned.....the first few days after a wonderful visit just tells me again how blessed we are to have children and grandchildren who love us and love to come home to family......what a gift.....the kids have arrived back in Fergus safely and are happy to be home and I am so glad about that.......it was just the best time to have them here for almost two weeks.......enjoying each other.....spending time out in Okotoks with their cousins and Heather and Sue and their hubbies able to visit as well....visiting Great-gramma and playing scrabble with her......isn't that what family is all about.....spending time, chatting, having coffee, playing games, laughing, crying, sharing, doing things together, enjoying nature, making memories..........and now we can look forward to our time down there in May when we welcome a sweet new grandson.......
My dream is that someday in the not so distant future, we will ALL be able to get together for a mini-reunion (the last time when we were all together was at Nanc and Wayne's wedding and that was a fun but busy time.......and Kalle and Breiden weren't with us then......) my dream continues........on an island, warm, tropical with plumeria trees blooming and beaches as white and soft as icing sugar......the kids playing in the water and we sit there relaxing.......how fun would that be, I ask you.
But even if that particular dream does not come true, we will be thankful for the times that we can get together wherever it may be........
