GOOD FOOD (what could be better on a picnic than "polse" (hotdog) and potato salad, brown beans and wonderful coffee! We used the lovely set that Larry and Irene, Jeff and Kirsten gave us last summer when they stayed with us and of course that made it even more yummy.)

AND THE ABSOLUTE "GOODEST" (Scenery that is simply out of this world.....I hope Heaven looks like this)

I could only sing "How Great Thou Art" when we drove up to the mountains today for some much needed "R" n "R". It was perfect.......sunny, warm and not a cloud in the sky.

Saskatoon Berry Farm again.........

Patty (my niece) and I drove out to the Saskatoon Berry Farm on Tuesday for lunch. The Farm just opened their new cafe two weeks ago so we were able to sit in a beautiful new area, so much bigger and we didn't even have to wait. What a treat! Wonderful Saskatoon berry pie and tarts, bread and sandwiches, soup, buffalo burgers, chicken wraps, etc........and then

were able to walk through their gift store plus their green houses

with gorgeous hanging baskets, annuals, perenials, etc. which you can purchase, they have trees of all kinds, shrubs. It is a wonderful place. Then you walk out to the ridge and see the Saskatoon bushes growing right by the river and later on in the summer, you can pick them. Here Patty is looking over the river towards her parent's house.

I am going to miss these times with her. They are moving to Vancouver in July.

Erin and Derek brought their new addition to their family over last night. The cutest little Spaniel-Pom cross. They call her Annie. Jemma, Siri, Nate and Kalle were here having a sleep-over so they got to meet her too. What fun. She loved playing with the kids.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY HUBBY WHO JUST HAPPENS TO BE ONE OF MY VERY BEST FRIENDS !!!!!! EVEN AFTER 40 YEARS OF BEING MARRIED TO THIS GUY, I STILL THINK HE IS JUST THE BEST!!!!!!!

Heather and the kids came in for Book Club yesterday and here they are walking over to the house where it is going to be held.....near Midnapore Mall.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO MY HUBBY AND ALL HIS SONS-IN-LAWS.........

It finally turned nice yesterday and today just in time for Father's Day......Here is Grandpa with part of his grandchildren crew.........

All he wanted for Father's Day was a sour cream pie.........so he got it (and by the way, it is delicious!!!) and I added a full-face helmet for riding his motorbike and a Dad mug for his coffee...........
And our front little patio which we finished last week, where we sit and have our coffee in the evenings and talk to our neighbours walking by............It is rather "koselig"!!!!!!!!
