What a wonderful week........having our family home - Nancy coming by plane last Sat. Oct. 7 as well as Eric and Susanne arriving the same day around 1:00 P.M. by car. We had a very busy week with church, Thanksgiving dinner, going to the mountains on Monday where we had an absolutely beautiful day in Banff (poor Grandpa and Eric didn't have as good a time because both of them were feeling a little under the weather)......getting ready for Nancy's shower on Wed. night at the church.....going up to spend some time with Great-gramma at the Beverly.....just spending time together.......having the little ones come upstairs in the morning all sleepy-eyed and warm dragging their favorite blankets and being cozy on the couch while we had our morning coffee in front of a fire in the fireplace, chatting and laughing with my daughters, doing some shopping. Sat. Oct. 14th came too fast and we had to say good-bye to Nanc for a little while.... til we go down to Fergus for the birth. She looks absolutely radiant and she and Wayne are so looking forward to the little one make his appearance in Jan. Sue and Eric and their family took off again for the Kananaskis on Sat. morning and we took Nanc out for lunch before seeing her off at the airport at 3:15 P.M. Then we (Jim and I) went to the Legacy Five concert at Grace Baptist Church with Rob and Carol on Saturday night. What a blessed, joyous time listening to these fellows sing!!!!! Joy and sorrow often go together and when we arrived home on Sat. night, we had a message from my sister Joyce telling us the Howard (Viv's husband) had passed away that evening. I phoned Viv right away and talked with her. She is so strong and we know God is providing her with strength. So another loved one has gathered on the other side. We will go to Saskatoon for the funeral probably at the end of the week.
Today we spent at Heather and Duane's out in Okotoks.....so fun!!! Eric and Susanne are staying with them tonight and then they don't leave until Wed. morning early so we have a couple more days.......Time just goes too fast......

Will be praying for Vivian and the family...Howard was such a great man, I know he will be missed. But, he is happy now where he is and we will rejoyce in that.!
Take care!
It sounds like you had a fun time with your family.
Do you have photos you can post?!
